Job Description

You will be contributing to that vision by…

1. Contract & Rate Validation

  • Validate ocean freight contracts from shipping lines to identify and resolve errors or discrepancies.
  • Ensure contracts are accurately maintained in the Rate Management System, using correct charge codes and ensuring contract validity.
  • Manage user permissions in the Rate Management System to maintain correct access levels.
  • Collaborate with the Service Center team to ensure contract accuracy, minimize errors, and optimize processes.

2. Stakeholder Support & Communication

  • Act as the first point of contact for contract owners regarding questions and data updates.
  • Support Contract Managers by handling complaints and resolving contract-related issues.
  • Develop a feedback-driven framework to continuously enhance data processes.
  • Align and communicate with internal stakeholders (Product Team, Tender Team, Service Center) on key issues and improvements.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and efficient team environment.

3. Reporting, Data Analysis & Data Input

  • Generate reports on Buying Rates & Suggested Selling Rates (SSRs) to assess competitiveness and completeness.
  • Analyze the success rates of quoted tariffs and provide insights for improvement.
  • Produce Transit Time reports to support trade teams in decision-making.
  • Conduct routine audits and quality checks to maintain high data integrity.
  • Input tariff data into rate cards/tools for Tender Management.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports to support internal stakeholders with pricing decisions.

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us

  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Experience working with shipping lines or NVOCCs is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to process and interpret tariff data.
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to ensure quality and consistency.
