What you can expect
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the company's global sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify market opportunities and emerging trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Sales and Business Development:
- Lead and manage the global sales team to drive new business and expand existing customer relationships.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective sales processes, tools, and metrics to track performance and achieve sales targets.
Marketing and Branding:
- Oversee the global marketing strategy, including brand positioning, digital marketing, and market research.
- Enhance the company's brand presence and reputation in the global logistics market.
- Ensure consistent messaging and communication across all marketing channels.
Customer Experience:
- Champion a customer-centric culture and ensure exceptional customer service standards.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team and board of directors.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Promote diversity and inclusion within the sales team.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Proven senior sales leadership experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of global logistics markets and industry trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Willingness to travel globally as required.
